'I am writing concerning an incident that occurred in Union House on 26^th September 2008.  It is alleged that you gave your campus card to a third party to gain access to Union House.  This is against our rules and you are therefore now subject to disciplinary action.  You are required to attend a Disciplinary Hearing on Friday 24^th October 2008 at 2.15 p.m. in Union House.   You may be accompanied during the hearing or/and bring witnesses or witness statements with you.  You are asked to report to the Reception Desk, Union House, on arrival.  If you are unable to attend this hearing can you please contact me as soon as possible to suggest an alternative time/date.  Failure to contact me before 24^th October 2008 will result in the hearing taking place in your absence.

 In line with our policy concerning members facing disciplinary action your membership of the Student’ Union is now suspended.  This means you may not gain access to any of the commercial areas within Union House, including Chancellor’s patio, or get friends to purchase items from these areas on your behalf.  In effect this means you may only gain access to Union House between 8.30 a.m.-5.30 p.m. to use the Representation & Development and the Activities Departments.  Failure to comply with this suspension will result in further disciplinary action being taken.'

well i went into college and picked up the results, and i got BCCD and D in music tech as i reclaimed, so thought i was going to solent next year as surrey wanted 320 points (ABB) including physics, either electronics or computing and a B minimum in maths...

got home and checked ucas and e-mail, turns out i'm actually going to surrey instead, as 2days ago the offeer was spontaneously changed to unconditional, even though the conditions were still listed on the ucas page, the only explanation can be that they suddenly decided oh that persons from a poor background we need them to look good, or oh look that persons put down solent lets spite them and steal him...or maybe the head of engineering who i sortof know from a summer thingie a while ago saw that i was applying and said i want that nerd or something...

and grandmas recieved the final confirmation letter, so it's definite

now i think i'll eat most of a massivly gooey choclatey cake, drink a crate of guinness and sort out what the hel i'll be doing next year in terms of where the furries are or what bocknig group i'll be in or something

but whatever happens southampton will always be home, and i shall try to visit as much as my budget and timetable will allow lyndsey, so don't be too sad
